Before breakfast we drive to nearby Playa Carrillo which is lined with palm trees. The first impression is a little bit disappointing because the beach is not as nice as it has been described to us. Only the next day we should discover that it becomes much more attractive a few miles further. After beachcombing and a nice swim in the warm ocean we return to the Hideaway hotel.
For breakfast we have the following options: Tipico (gallo pinto with eggs), continental (toast with jam) and French toast. Fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee or tea is always included. Other items, such as bacon or ham, are available at an excessive surcharge.
There isn’t much to tell about this day. We just spend a relaxing day of vacation and enjoy beautiful sunshine. Reading, swimming and a bech walk to Samara for having luch are our today’s activities. In the evening we enjoy a spectacular sunset at the beach.
In the evening we drive to Samara and have dinner at Gusto Creativo Italiano, a very good Italian restaurant. Although there are only a few guests it take pretty long until our food is served. But it has been worth waiting. The food is really excellent.
What has been the highlight of the day? Without a doubt the weather. We don’t count the few very drops of rain in the afternoon and declare this day our first dry day of this vacation. Pura Vida!
